Perbedaan Kadar Hemoglobin Ibu Hamil antara Wilayah Endemis dan Non-Endemis Cacing Buski di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara

Anemia pada kehamilan masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap kejadian anemia adalah infeksi parasit usus seperti Fasciolopsis buski (cacing buski), terutama di daerah dengan sanitasi buruk dan kebiasaan konsumsi tumbuhan air mentah. Mengetahui perbedaan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil antara wilayah endemis dan non-endemis cacing buski.
Penelitian ini merupakan studi potong lintang komparatif yang dilakukan pada 124 ibu hamil, terdiri atas 62 responden dari wilayah endemis dan 62 dari wilayah non-endemis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin menggunakan alat Hemocue®. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent t-test dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Rata-rata kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil di daerah endemis adalah 10,7 ± 1,1 g/dL, sedangkan di daerah non-endemis sebesar 11,6 ± 1,0 g/dL. Hasil uji t menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna antara kedua kelompok (p = 0,001). Proporsi anemia di daerah endemis sebesar 61,3% dan di non-endemis 29,0%. Terdapat perbedaan kadar hemoglobin yang signifikan antara ibu hamil di wilayah endemis dan non-endemis cacing buski. Faktor endemisitas infeksi parasit usus dapat berkontribusi terhadap tingginya risiko anemia pada ibu hamil di daerah endemis.
