Pengaruh Home Care Asuhan Keperawatan Gigi dan Mulut terhadap Skor Gingivitis pada Pasien Diabetes Militus

Abstrak

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis penyebab kematian tertinggi di Indonesia. Data Riskesdas 2018 menunjukkan jumlah kasus penyakit DM  di Indonesia 8,5%. Pasien  DM memiliki risiko  lebih tinggi untuk mengalami masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut, termasuk gingivitis Penelitian  bertujuan Mengetahui pengaruh home care asuhan keperawatan gigi dan mulut terhadap penurunan skore gingivitis pada kasus DM di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sungai Tabuk . Jenis penelitian analitik, rancangan eksperimen semu Pretest-Posttest, Sampel  dengan accidental sampling,  jumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  selisih rata-rata hasil pengukuran skor gingivitis sebesar 0,8280 sebelum dengan sesudah  intervensi  home care asuhan keperawatan gigi dan mulut terhadap penurunan skor gingivitis pada kasus DM di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sungai Tabuk Kabupaten Banjar. Hasil Ç· value pada kolom Sig(2-tailed) = 0,000,  Ç· value lebih kecil dari α 0,05, sehingga Ho ditolak Ha diterima. Kesimpulannya ada pengaruh home care asuhan keperawatan gigi dan mulut terhadap penurunan skore gingivitis pada kasus DM di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sungai Tabuk . Disarankan kepada pihak Puskesmas Sungai Tabuk  dapat mengintegrasikan pelaksaan home care asuhan keperawatan gigi dan mulut oleh tenaga terapi gigi di Puskesmas sebagai bagian dari program kesehatan gigi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas.
