Identifikasi Spesies Dan Indeks Keragaman Lalat Pada Fasilitas Penampungan Sampah Rumah Sakit Umum Di Yogyakarta

Beberapa spesies lalat merupakan spesies yang paling berperan dalam masalah kesehatan yaitu sebagai vektor mekanik dan vektor biologis penyakit tertentu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi spesies lalat dan indeks keragaman lalat di fasilitas penampungan sampah di beberapa Rumah Sakit Umum di Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan observasional deskriptif dengan metode cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel lalat dengan menggunakan insect net dilakukan di 5 (lima) fasilitas penampungan sampah medis dan non-medis Rumah Sakit Umum di Yogyakarta. Identifikasi lalat dilakukan secara langsung dengan didasarkan pada ciri morfologi lalat. Keragaman lalat dianalisis dengan indeks keragaman Shannon Winner. Hasil penangkapan di penampungan sampah medis teridentifikasi 3 spesies lalat, sedangkan di penampungan sampah non medis teridentifikasi 6 spesies lalat. Jumlah lalat ditangkap di penampungan sampah medis sebanyak 6 ekor, sedangkan di penampungan non medis sebanyak 211 ekor. Indeks keragaman di penampungan sampah medis 1,011, sedangkan di penampungan sampah non medis 0,787. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini diperoleh 6 jenis spesies lalat, antara lain Musca domestica, Sarcophaga sp, Chrysomyia megachephala, Lucillia sp, Calliphora sp, dan Muscina sp. Keragaman lalat di penampungan sampah medis termasuk kategori rendah, sedangkan di penampungan sampah non medis termasuk kategori sedang.
